These regulations set out the rules for using GBPPromote Site to build, publish, and host a website. By creating a site with us, you agree to them.
1. Scope of the service
GBPPromote Site lets you build a website from your business information and publish it on a gbppromote.site subdomain or your own connected domain. The service is provided by GBPPromote. We may add, change, or remove features to improve the service.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate details and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You must be legally able to enter into these regulations, and where you act for a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use GBPPromote Site to publish or do anything that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or infringes someone else’s rights;
- contains malware, or attempts to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- impersonates a business you do not represent, or misrepresents your identity;
- includes hateful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited content, or content unsuitable for a general audience where not clearly age-gated;
- violates Google’s policies where you connect a Google Business Profile.
4. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the content you add — your text, images, logo, and business details. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, display, back up, and deliver your website. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, and for making sure your published content is accurate and lawful.
5. Hosting, subdomains & custom domains
- Free sites are published on a subdomain in the form yourname.gbppromote.site. Subdomains are assigned on a first-come basis and may be reclaimed if a site is inactive or breaches these regulations.
- You may connect a custom domain you own. You remain responsible for your domain registration and its renewal.
- We provide SSL and standard hosting; fair-use limits may apply to protect service quality.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service and your published sites available, but we provide the service “as is” and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance that briefly affects availability.
7. Suspension & termination
You can stop using the service and delete your sites at any time. We may suspend or remove a site or account that breaches these regulations, poses a security risk, or is required to be removed by law, giving notice where reasonably possible.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GBPPromote is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits arising from use of the service. Nothing in these regulations limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these regulations from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated regulations.
